This is the scene that launched a thousand New York City establishing shots... Haha, really, really awesome work. I particularly like the 'after the rainstorm 1970s grit' feeling.
Have you seen Scent of a Woman with Al Pacino? There's a shot of a very similar perspective in the scene where Pacino drives a ferrari (his character is blind). Just wondering if it inspired this at all.
Amazing, this picture is large in effect but small in capture, it makes my heart swell, the thought put into this is epic and the attention to detail is utterly fascination, your eyes is fantastic, this is a life changing artwork
That's incredible... the dark, urban energy of the pic, the central-placed light of city smog and gutter-wetness. Beautiful. I'd put that on my wall. How big is the original?
